Stacey and Jerel’s wedding day took place on a snowy, frigid, windy day in March. The inclement weather was definitely not what Stacey had envisioned her wedding day to look like but it ended up being perfect in so many ways. At the beginning of the day, it didn’t look like outside portraits were going to be possible. But surprisingly, right as Stacey was walking down the aisle sunshine filled the room and stayed the rest of the evening! Rain, snow, or shine we will always make it work! We took advantage of the golden light for their portraits and you guys these a some of my FAVORITE ever!
I was so honored to have my first wedding of 2022 with Stacey and Jerel! Despite the unpredictable weather, these two were so excited to be married! There was just so much love and happiness in the air all day long. From the first look, to the sweet, intimate ceremony service, and fun sparkler send off I don’t think these two ever stopped smiling! I am so excited to share Valerie and Bryson on the blog today! I LOVED getting to know these two during their engagement session! We began the evening at Carvins Cove and ended it off where Bryson proposed, The Home Place.
From the moment I met Valerie and Bryson I instantly fell in love with their super sweet and fun personalities! We had a lot of fun laughs and smiles! I am totally convinced these two are the definition of pure love! They are such a beautiful couple with a big heart and it speaks volumes in their photos! ❤️

Would you believe me when I said this was taken on a gorgeous 65 degree day in February? Stacey and Jerel totally lucked out with beautiful spring like weather for their engagement session! Between the dreamy location, and golden light I am just loving how these shots turned out!
This was my first time meeting Stacey and Jerel and I Instantly fell in LOVE with their sweet, kind, and fun personalities. These two are such a BEAUTIFUL couple, not to mention naturals in front of the camera! I definitely think they need to be models because you guys look at how CUTE! Their love for each other shines and it was such an honor to capture through my lens.

I am so excited to share this beautiful day on the blog!
I met Kelsey and Josh for the first time on Saturday and I was immediately in love with their super sweet personalities and true love for each other. These two tied the knot on the most gorgeous, chilly, fall day with a stunning mountain view in the background. So much love was in the air during this day and it definitely showed in their images. From Josh’s reaction to Kelsey coming down the aisle, to their husband and wife portraits during golden hour, it was just so meaningful and absolutely perfect. And can we just talk about how gorgeous of a bride Kelsey was! So beautiful!
This beautiful day ended with the sweetest reception and lots of dancing to celebrate Mr. and Mrs. Tinsley! The sweetest part for me was watching Kelsey and Josh’s first dance! It is so evident these two love each other so much and it was such an honor to be apart of their special day.

We had the most gorgeous sunrise session in the lovely blue ridge mountains. It was surely a cold fall morning but these two were champs! Ashley and Allen are such naturals and I am so excited for their wedding day next May in this exact gorgeous spot. Brides, if you are reading this and haven’t already checked out Cloverlea Farmhouse in Bedford, Virginia It should be top on your list! This is hands down one of my favorite wedding venues in the blue ridge because the view is to die for!
This was by far the dreamiest engagement session I’ve captured and I am just so excited to witness their families becoming one in May of 2022!

Mazie // Senior Portrait Session// Virginia Senior Photographer
Mazie’s beautiful senior session is live and I am so excited! We couldn’t have chosen a more beautiful location for this Brookville senior because you guys these turned out stunning! I absolutely loved Mazie the moment I met her, she is such a true natural in front of the camera. Her sweet smile and personality shine and I just LOVE it! We laughed together about all the things and genuinely had a good time, which made my heart happy!
I like to provide my seniors with a two hour session package with two different locations but we actually stayed at Sweet Briar College for Mazie’s session and I was all about it! If you don’t already know this location is personally, one of my favorites in the Lynchburg area. The variety at Sweet Briar is perfect! From, wildflower fields, greenery, beautiful architecture, gravel roads, and mountain views I look forward to many more sessions here in the future.

It’s October, which means so many beautiful family sessions ahead! I am SO excited to share with you the Caldwell family today! And you guys, I am not sure anything could be cuter than these three! Keep scrolling and you will instantly see what I mean.
I was so excited when Brittany reached out to me to photograph her family. This was the first time I had met these three and I had a BLAST! We had the most gorgeous evening at the lovely Sorella farms. I definitely 12/10 recommend having your sessions there because OH MY is it gorgeous! I also just LOVE how Brittany, Pierce, and Grayson incorporated the cowboy hat and boots into their outfits. It seriously added the sweetest touch!

Not only was their day BEAUTIFUL it was so unique! Alex and Maureen are seriously two of the coolest people I have met! They are both AMAZING dancers! How cools is that!? They had a choreographed dance during their reception, and you guys they ROCKED it! As a wedding photographer, this was one of the coolest things I've captured! These two definitely deserved a gold trophy!!

I had such a blast capturing the Cartwright family! Rachel chose Irvington Spring Farm for her maternity session location because they provided her wedding flowers. How sweet is that!? So SWEET you guys! I also think I met another little girl who loves flowers as much as my own. I loved capturing their daughter, Nellie adventuring on the farm.
